As of November 15, 2017, we’ve distributed 7,296 books to children in 11 states and more than 16 countries.  That’s an increase of 5,526 books in the last 13 months.  Whew!  Our books and literacy materials have gone to foster families, foster homes, homeless shelters, private schools, public schools, life centers, families, and libraries all over the world.

Olivia’s World Literacy, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3)non-profit organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 1986, or the corresponding provision of any future federal law.OWL, Inc. All Officers and the Board of Directors donate their time time and resources for free.

Olivia’s World Literacy, Inc. was created in memory of Olivia Layke Gross who left this world for heaven far too soon.  She was 5 1/2 months old.

Olivia’s family, with the help of generous donors, established Olivia’s World Literacy to honor Olivia’s memory by promoting literacy in the United States and around the world.

Motto:  Dream Big.  Read Books.

Mission / Goal:  To promote literacy by distributing books and/or literacy materials to schools, individuals, and/or communities in the United States and abroad.

Olivia’s World Literacy, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 1986, or the corresponding provision of any future federal law.

Funding:  Monetary donations are accepted to cover the cost of purchasing and shipping books and literacy materials.  OWL also accepts new and gently used books for distribution.
